We were proud for the possibility to attend Film London’s Production Finance Market yet again. The eighth PFM was held during Wednesday 14 – Thursday 15 October.
The market was busy and there was great buzz around our co-production feature HUGO – The World’s Worst Comeback. In the beginning of October Hugo Games announced that it had raised $4.0m in private placement. The investment gives a great leverage for the Hugo brand marketing.
The Film London Production Finance Market is the place where producers and financiers meet. PFM2014 was held in association with cross industry support from senior European producers and financiers, The BFI London Film Festival, the BFI, Mayor of London, MEDIA, and UK Trade & Investment.
Hosting over 800 face to face meetings and a further 300 financier-to-financier meetings over the two days, it is popular with producers and financiers alike and previous delegates have paid overwhelming testimony to the strategic role the market now plays in the annual film calendar.
