Anima Vitae has been one of the leading animation studios in Nordic countries for over a decade. Anima is best known for 3D feature Niko and The Way to the Stars (2008) which was sold to 118 countries and was also nominated for the Best Feature at the European Film Awards. Currently the sequel for Niko, ”Niko2 – Little Brother, Big Trouble”, is traveling through the world. Anima has been also nominated twice for the Best European Animation Producer.

In 2013 Anima set up its second animation studio, AnimaPoint, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in cooperation with a local partner, based on a production line technology developed by Anima.



Antti Haikala

Antti Haikala is the Head of Animation of Anima. Antti’s main interest in 3D animation is finding new ways of executing projects but at the same time understanding the important parts of the tradition.


Olli Rajala
(Lead TD, co-founder)

Olli Rajala is the Lead TD and co-founder of Anima. He has been working on such things as Look Dev, Pipelines, Rendering, Tools and Plugins Dev, Problem Solving and other tasks needing a creative technical solution.


Jani Kuronen  AnimaPoint, Kuala Lumpur

Jani Kuronen is the Producer and co-founder of Anima. Mr. Kuronen has extensive knowledge of all areas of animation and 3D animation technology. He is also the CTO and Executive Producer of animation studio AnimaPoint.
